My favourite piece of music is Funeral Cry by Dark Sanctuary, which I've mentioned many times on here before. The lyrics are about wishing to die which is why it's my favourite and I also find it to be quite calming.

Hmm can't really say what my fav song in general is but this is my fav k pop song.
Has got me out of a lot of stressful moments that were tempting me to self harm.

(Are You) The One I've Been Waiting For by Nick Cave. A simply yet beautifully haunting chord progression and lyrics that perfectly describe all the mixed feelings that come with pining for something or someone you know you'll never have.
"The Spiraling Void" by The Faceless is still a favorite of mine, being that it introduced me into the metal genre and the whole album is about someone being haunted by a ghost to the point of suicide, which somewhat hits close to home.
Other than than I listen to "Just the Two of Us" and "House of the Rising Sun" on a daily basis.
About Today by The National
I heard this song for the first time about fifteen years ago—got no clue how I found it, but it's been a favorite ever since. Despite the heartbreaking lyrics, the sound is very soothing.
Stevie Wonder - Superwoman/where were you when I needed you.
It's a beautiful song. It's kind of two songs, with a stunning transition. I personally like the second one, where were you when I needed you.
I love the sound, the beautiful singing, and especially the instrumentals on both songs. Most especially the synths on the second one.
I like this one because it is happy feeling and silly sounding to me. I like it when people are nice to me in public and open doors for me and it makes me happy and such! Despite people doing curtesy actions in public for no personal gain is sometimes a forced social convention, I like to think that everyone wants to be very nice deep down and this song reminds me of such.
"I mean the man in the doorway who just gave me a light"
"The ------- on the corner who are happy to see me"
"They don't care how lost they are"
"We don't care how lost we are"
