Ad hominem to avoid discussion that they are unfamiliar with because their position is bankrupt but they don't want to lose social capital, especially on internet forums.

When people exile qualities as psychological projection. Gaslighting. Other abusive attempts at removing a perceived interruption of social control over others.

"Gaslighting" and "ad hominem" in the same post. Why not edit it a third time, that way you can stick "strawman" in there and complete the hat-trick?

Hahahaha are you still referring to a three week old thread here? Nobody gives a shit pal, but it does amuse me that you're still tragically trying to keep age-old beef going.

Actually I wasn't. But here you are..

Everybody can read our previous interactions and decide for themselves btw, you're aware of this, right?

Well this thread got weird and I'm quite a bit confused. This is sort of the inherent state of posting on an internet forum and didn't require you announcing it the first time let alone a second time here and tbh I'm questioning your concern with everybody else reading a discussion you were in instead of with the conversation between the two of us. Maybe there was a miscommunication but I don't need "everybody" else to validate my posts and I don't need gatling gun ad hominem to do so either.

I assume you're joking around? When people exile qualities as psychological projection it ends up as a form of gaslighting. When people do this they try to make the other person question the integrity of their thoughts because the reverse labeling of behavior is so ridiculous that it slips through as 'must be legit'. This is a characteristic of ad hominem strategy during human communication. It's a pet peeve of mine because it's petty and also can be used to socially control susceptible groups which adds an icky power dynamic.

Anyways, another pet peeve to change the subject ffs would be dogs barking at literally nothing. It's not their heightened sense of hearing, it's at nothing.

I better make this waaaay more clear, the above isn't alluding to this bizarre conversation that I've been forced into. A dog was actually barking.

Of course you weren't. My mistake. I've no idea how I'd have even concluded such a thing, given it's not something you've done before, with me, on literally the same issue, at random points in threads for no real purpose other than to instigate your own weird beef, because obviously had you done so those posts would still exist, and somebody would probably be able to find them if they could be fucking arsed with dealing with the type of monotonously obnoxious oddball who would do that sort of thing.

Nor have you changed your signature to be actual quotes from my posts on two separate occasions in the aftermath of having resurrected such a tedious beef that literally nobody gives a fuck about, again that would be weird, apologies all.

Please, let's return to discussing pet peeves.

Here's some of mine:

  • People playing music or videos in crowded and public places, like trams, trains, etc.
  • Excessive staring
  • Using 'u' instead of 'you'
  • Intentionally biting more off than you can chew while eating

Oh dear.
  • Excessive, repetitive use of dad jokes. Especially in a short time. "May whoever that is not here raise their hand?" - my boss, every morning. Another one "where are the steaks? Did you cook us some steaks, Johnathan?" - again, my boss, lunch. Every single day.
  • "Just get a weed card, man! It's legal now!" - every single person I ever met face to face, excluding my father and my neuro, who somehow detects I suffer from epilepsy.
  • People who insist on "helping" after being told I do not need their help, did not ask for their help, nor will need their help. And then they have the audacity to act insulted after being told to fuck off.

People with tattoos who don't wear sunscreen trigger TF out of me!

Like, why would you spend a lot of money on your tattoos just to expose them to the sun without any protection and let them get destroyed by it??
I have 6 Tattoos that I dearly love and the amount of sunscreen I slather on on the daily is unreal.

-Getting out of the bathtub and accidentally rubbing wrinkled fingers/hands/feet together. The sensation is beyond horrific.

-When people say, "How are you doing? What're you up to? Keep me posted on your plans!" without actually meaning what they say

-When complete strangers try to force a conversation with you on the street

-When people don't respond to
questions over text, email, etc.

--When people don't understand something you're saying or doing, but don't bother to ask you for clarification

-When people expect you to magically figure everything out on your own with zero help or support

-Bright sunshine in the morning

-Running out of Diet Coke and having to go to the store to buy more

-Slow game download times

-Touching wet clumpy/clinging things

Yeah, the list just goes on and on. I'm a sourpuss!

People not taking responsibility for their actions and running away from them without realising the consequences they'll have on other people's lives. That's how lives like mine get destroyed.

When you open up a snack and people put out their hand, expecting you to share.

Now I'm hungry because I shared in fear of looking like a greedy bastard.
