It is all a matter of perspective. Some genuinely enjoy life and that ia ok. I wish it was equally ok to acknowledge that not all of us do and that some of us want to do something about it.

i wouldnt say ive ever enjoyed life since i always wanted to die from a young age being apart of an abusive family but what kept me holding on for longer than i shouldve was naivety and false hope. thats what was wrong with me.

they enjoy life because they exploit animals and people in poor countries

It's not always 0-1 remember - I do enjoy some parts of life as much as some I do really hate. Some people are just more positive, some are less - that's it really.

You should not categorize yourself in "I love life" or "I hate life" - the spectrum is simply too large for that :)

Being dealt a shitty hand in the life lotto is something I still struggle with. And I know suicide is the logical, obvious conclusion for someone who suffers from severe trauma and depression. But I've had false hope for the past 21 years.

I can say definitively, in my case, things do not get better. They have largely gotten noticeably worse. Play the tape through and it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to conclude things will continue to dip down.

So why can't I just go buy the shotgun and do it already?!

Life isn't fair. That's pretty much it as far as I can tell.

They don't deserve their opportunities, luck, fortune, temperament, genetics, any more than anybody else. All of their stars aligned, their "perseverance" always pays off, their efforts always bear fruit, so naturally they conclude their life is worth living. They conclude that it's all the direct result of their own actions; it's not, but life never proves them wrong, so their illusion is indistinguishable from reality.
