Maybe they can afford to set up a guarantee that someone will pull the plug if they end up vegetative, maybe even grab the pillow-if you know what I mean.

Besides, wealthy people have a lot of family just waiting in the wings to get their hands on all that cash, they would probably be the last people to want to prolong the death, getting that early inheritance, while doing a good deed by ending their loved one's suffering in the process, well that's just bonus points.

Yeah I mean I don't want to get into conspiracy theories or anything but I'm pretty sure that's why Ghislaine Maxwell is under such high security CCTV survalience since she has ties with Epstein, so if she 'ctb' her case will be dismissed. Kind of like how Aaron Hernandez technically didn't get charged because he ctb before his sentencing or something like that.
(but since Maxwell and Epstein have ties with the high up in governments/royals, I guess others getting exposed by her can make anyone an assassination target.

If i remember rightly aswell, that aaron hernandez thing. him not getting charged meant that his spouse couldn't be sued and take lots of his money from his family. I'm pretty sure there was an angle like that!!!

The thing is, we hear about the one time it's successful. We have no idea how many times they tried and failed or tried and backed out or changed their minds or struggled or any of that. so from the outside it probably just looks easy.

It's often hard for us to do because there's a lot of overthinking going on. If you have the luxury of time and planning, you can start getting tangled up in all the hypothetical bad things that can go wrong and freak yourself out.

It's just like how it's very easy to die by accident, because you're just going on like normal and don't see it coming. Doing it on purpose requires thinking about it, and then you trigger SI and all that good stuff, which makes it harder to do.

Having everything doesn't equal happiness though. Imagine being famous & wealthy, and STILL feeling depressed. I can only imagine how much that would fuck with someone's head. As cliché as it sounds it's true when people say money can't buy happiness.

It can alleviate the financial stressors of life, but it can't buy happiness or peace of mind.

Even though I'm not their level of rich, I completely understand that feeling of money and things not helping. When I'm the most depressed, I tend to spend lots of money to try to feel better. I'll treat myself to things that I really want, but when I get them I always end up feeling somehow more depressed because it so doesn't help. So I think maybe the more you have, the worse it feels because it just really drives it home that nothing's helping and it's all hopeless.
