  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I am wondering if you take SN and it doesn't actually kill you what is the worst that will happen to you? Can it cause brain damage or anything else? I have some that I bought a couple of years ago qnd have been waiting, not sure if the stuff is even legit or if it's still OK but it is all that I have got. So I'm wondering...if it goes wrong, what do your reckon is the worst that could happen?

it is insanely unlikely it'll cause any brain damage unless you have like, cardiac arrest or something, which is already very rare with sn.

I don't know how these things work, but the wiki abt sn on this site swears by sn not giving brain damage if you fail. I do find it a little strange though, like once you get to the point your brain has shut down, if you're resucitated there will be consecuences, right?

I've read different threads on the possibility of suffocation. It's conflicting.

https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/first-ever-sn-documentation.29734/

This thread tries to make the case for the possibility but other people are debating the OP about it:

Here's another thread that tries to rebuttal it:

We don't have a lot of studies about the effect of SN in the human body since very few people even know about its existence. For now we do know that SN poisoning is easily reversible with methanyl blue as the antidote. SN has never been reported to cause permanent brain damage separate from cardiac arrest, which means in itself SN is unlikely to cause permanent injury. You can read stories about people testing SN and walked back home just fine without any side effect. One guy drank only 2g and almost died (His oxygen level dropped below 60%), the doctors gave him methanyl blue and not even a day later he was allowed to go home.

For all those who've attempted and failed with SN on this site, I don't recall a single person who's had brain damage

Although in the event of any who *did* experience brain damage, due to the nature of their condition it would therefore be unlikely that they'd be able to return to report on it.

There does appear to be a chance that SN can result in stroke, though.
