I've seen quite a few people who just have said some... quite incorrect or just insensitive takes on people are depressed/want to CTB. I know these kinds of takes are not impossible to find online- easy with a little internet searching, but what about real life? As in, people you have interacted with in person more so. I can give an example of one of my dad's friends saying that if someone feels like CTB then they are defective and we should just keep them in prison, because mental hospitals aren't good enough and they don't deserve sympathy. Not an exact quote, of course, but something along those lines. And to add on to the question, did whoever say that take know that you are depressed/have tried to ctb or have thoughts about it/sh/are not in the best mental state etc.? and if it was a bad take, did you try to correct it or let it slide/pretend to agree/say nothing?
