Bad: probably that I destroy the people who care about me.
Good: probably when someone I looked up to a lot because they were extremely kind and thoughtful told me they loved me (entirely platonically). I didn't feel like I deserved it. I didn't understand why. Or how I could possibly deserve that. I still think about it a lot..

Recently I had crush on a girl and we were actually doing so well and I could actually see it happen.. and then she told me one time outta nowhere that in 3rd grade (we were in the same 3rd grade class) i said something mean to her that she remembered until the beginning of highschool (so like 6 years later) which made me realize there was NO way she would let me date her. The story she told me was one day during lunch she sat next to me during lunch, idk why we didnt even know each other, and asked me "watchu eating?" I then slowly turned my head towards her with a disgusted look and said "Ewww girls.... mind your own business!" and she was on the verge of tears... I cannot believe that my snotty nose idiot 3rd grade me fumbled so hard

My stepmother once told me something along the lines of "your mother loves you, but in a different way. She loves the things she can get by using you...", or something like that (I'm bad at remember exact quotes). Basically, she was implying that my mom didn't actually love me and that I was basically just a thing to her that she could use for her own benefit. She told me that back in elementary school and it eventually led to me being convinced that none of my family actually loved me.
