Hi everyone,
I don't usually post here, but I'm wondering which platform is best for livestreaming my own suicide. I'm considering TikTok or YouTube, and will promote it on WPD (or here, though I'm not sure if that's allowed) when it happens. My main concern is that people will screen record me when I die, rather than capturing the whole stream. I'm worried that YouTube or TikTok will take it down before it even happens, or that it will become lost media, or that no one will actually watch.

location: I'm planning to jump off a car parking lot outside my local Tesco, it's not SUPER high but somewhat high to guarantee I'll be injured and die due to my injuries (or I will die instantly instead :P)
the reason I'm doing it there because I'm so fucking broke don't have data to livestream somewhere else, only places with internet or WiFi connection because the car parking lot is outside my local Tesco and that Tesco has pretty good WiFi and aleast try livestream it (if doesn't work, I just record it instead or something)

date: either this Sunday (15th of June) or Monday (16th of June) or I will be impatient bitch and try to leave my house to do it tomorrow or Saturday but I rather plan it out and do it successfully

so any suggestions for new platforms to livestream of better options please recommend me below!
I just wanna this best way as possible, thank youuu

a chance of not dying instantly could have you hospital bound for the rest of what will probably be an exceedingly painful life under constant watch

only extra evil cunts would screen record and those evil cunts will distribute it but i would ask if you want to be remembered like any of the other people who commited suicide on the internet (ronnie etc). they still clowned on to this day. obviously doesn't matter if you're dead, i dont think ronnie cares very much.

big platforms that you mentioned have constant AI agents scouring livestreams and it's likely that it'll be taken down as soon as any suicidal intent is mentioned

if you fancy a pint and chat beforehand i'm about south eng for another few months.

-g

EDIT

foolproof streaming solution could probably be done like this:

  • Home computer set up as a server
  • Phone connected to that server
    • Phone sends video stream to computer
  • Server either livestreams as MPTS or takes stream and puts it into one video file
  • Server can be set to upload at time you're comfortable with as long as its online

Caveats include:

Computers must be on the ENTIRE time
You will most likely need to port forward to get data between your phone and the computer when you're out of the house (outside of the local network)
Server must be able to handle sudden termination of the video transport stream otherwise it'll shit itself and not work properly

if too technical i could find the cheapest way to do this with an existing piece of software. computers'll keep you too busy for suicide lol

If you do this the only thing you'll accomplish is having a load of edgelords making memes about you. So unless you want that to be your legacy, would highly recommend against this.

I think Youtube and Tiktok would shut down and ban the stream/account fairly quickly if people start reporting it as self-harm or suicide attempt with a immediate risk to someone's health. What the companies then do might be report it to the local police and healthcare services.

fair point, I feel like I won't say anything in stream and better off talking in livestream chat to avoid this not happen, like I don't know like the stream will aleast 1 hour before I jump, I don't think I can jump immediately tho

Sentencing yourself to set up a local home server for remote media reception is a great way to discourage your own death, you're just complicating things, if this is a way to keep you alive by your own will, it's pretty creative 🤔

Why do you want people to witness your death, if you don't mind me asking?

The more people watch your stream, the greater the chance your live stream will be ended and deleted. And you can't really advertise your video with anything that suggests you plan on taking your live on stream.

UPDATE:
after researching I'm will not gonna livestream my suicide using Tiktok or YouTube. Why?
I need make a new account on these platforms so the stream will not be taken down and that's creates another problem, on Tiktok you need aleast 200 follows to access to livestream feature I think and with YouTube, it's verified number to livestream or upload any videos (I can't do because I only have one number and it's already in use) so I use platforms like Kick, Twitch, Facebook or Discord instead.

Your plan on doing at Tesco is not really recommended. First of all, people will watch you and you don't want to have any sort of SI and lessen the chances of survival.

I don't really know how tall Tesco buildings since i don't live in the UK, but based on the images i've seen on the internet. Tesco buildings are only like 9-11m tall or 2-4 floors/stories tall. Instead, find an local apartment or hotel thats at least 12 floors tall and make sure to check the ground is hard concrete if there are any.
The position and angle you land matters as well, along with your weight and height ratio. If a person weights 60kg and their height is 1.7m and fell from an 12 floor tall apartment or hotel (about 36m tall) it would take around 2.7s to hit the ground and you would be falling at an velocity of 96km/h, which is pretty fast and an almost guaranteed success rate if landed on the correct position.

You should plan carefully and only take my recommendation as a grain of salt as I don't have any experience in trying to CTB other than pure thoughts.

I don't think you understand why I'm doing at Tesco, I'm not doing inside the building or on the roof of the building, I'm doing it outside Tesco car parking lot and the car parking lot is somewhat high to the bottom, its takes a car aleast 5-8 minutes to get ontop of the car parking lot and it's 2-4 floor/stories tall to the bottom and no I can't kill myself at any apartment, you know public apartment security is strict if you don't live there and I can't afford hotel room to jump
it's so obvious you haven't attempted before and just research bullshit
it's a reason poeple kill themselves at public buildings, bridges, schools because that only place they can jump and yes I can jump somewhere else my preferred location is that parking lot because I have internet to livestream there compare somewhere else like a highway bridge or hotel

I hope you feel a little better today, my dear fellow.
Some of us are asking why do you want to livestream your CTB, because watch that for some people can trigger post-traumatic stress. Even a trauma can be hard.

Hugs for you.
Paula.

It's ok.
Yesterday I was talking with my boyfriend about people falling from great heights and there are a lot of cases they survive (and some of them only with a broken leg).
The problem here is find a really high place and do it. 8 years ago I lived in a 11 floor building and I knew it could difficult do CTB there, probability of dying is not high.

seems more painful that needed (tho still, self death ends both good and bad, not just bad)

As for where to stream, I heard that R9K user used discord, tho someone recorded the stream at his request and uploaded it somewhere, still, having several friends watch that user's death isn't good

some ppl want others to be able to view their death. On the flip side, there is a demand in the deep web for red room videos but no supply of live video... so maybe if a deep web site was setup at 240p 15fps... then the audience and the person doing CTB can get their wishes

With the height you've given us, I'm sorry to say, unless you directly fall onto your neck and somehow find time to aim that during such a short fall, you'll likely ''only'' end up with a broken in face or bleeding head instead. But I am very sure enough users here have already given you reasons why your idea might not be the best so I'll leave it at that.

I can't tell you sites that'd allow it as I don't want to fall under encouragement, but I can tell you that Twitch and TikTok will be trash for anything like this.

I literally explained why I'm planning to jump in car parking lot, it's only public place in my area with free internet so I can livestream to, im so fucking tried being broke i can't afford to jump out off a hotel window, I feel poeple here unestimate how bad jumping can be, yeah I won't die but I CAN still die from those injuries. poeple have survived jumping and still die from bleeding their head out
