These last few months have been fateful. Many dear members have already departed and now Xero and Sherri's cases are piling up, I can't help but feel sad.

Sherri's comments were way more extreme than Weebster's. Where his come across as insensitive and ignorant, the things Sherri said were purposefully insulting, hateful and malicious. There was simply no good reason to stoop that low.

I think the member in question made very clear that the OCD is the issue, not women. That's a very important detail. And he even clarified later that his issues with hygiene exist regardless of gender. Please read the thread and my statement. It's tragic that we lost a very popular long-term member today. I agree with you and I'm not happy about this outcome. But her behavior was inacceptable and doesn't belong into this forum.

Sherri's comments were appalling, regardless of anyone's views on another member's post history or thread. I fully admit that I made the wrong call by momentarily removing that thread initially, it was Rain that helped me realise that. She provided a lot of important information about the specific thread Sherri took issue with and I completely agree with the decision she made in light of that.

She did not deserve to be subjected to transphobia, threats, harassment and barrages of abuse. It was uncalled for and unacceptable, and I respect the decision to ban Sherri after how she behaved.

I liked Sherri, I got along with her, this doesn't change the fact that her conduct was inexcusable. It was insulting not only for Rain but towards the LGBTQ+ (and especially trans) community in general. There's no place for such hateful rhetoric here.

Once again, I am so sorry you experienced this @RainAndSadness and admire your composure, maturity and strength in the way you handled this and other similar situations.

From our interactions, I thought Sherri was a kind, sweet and empathetic soul, much like the girl in her avatar.

I never knew she was capable of saying such horribly mean things to another person. I kind of had to read what she said twice to believe those were her own words.

I hope she is doing okay whatever she is up to. A lot of people were hurt today. Even simple words on a screen can make a big impact on someone's emotions.

This lady gets a little annoyed and began spewing hate with a comfortable ease. She's almost 30 so let's not infantilize this person. The most unbecoming thing in the world is a grown person throwing a full blown tantrum and dropping slurs with no issue. Everyone knows what that means. Sherri showed her ass. It's not like she said it once, she kept going on and on. Then when she wasn't getting her way she says she's turning on the whole site. I hope she grows from the experience but good riddance on a suicide forum where the mods are doing the best they can. Respect is earned in life. Human decency can stay intact even under pressure if you train it. As someone who has put in that work I advise that grown woman to learn it.

Sherri had a choice, she could've left quietly, put the weeb guy on ignore and scrolled past, or reported the post to a mod and let them sort it out. Her choice was to have a full blown temper tantrum where instead of directing her wrath on a member, she had directed it towards a vulnerable person in the worst way. Her decision was clear and this is the action she took so the mods had to ban her cause that shit isn't tolerated in any way. Just because you disagree with another person's misguided opinion, doesn't give you a reason to go after another person and attack their orientation and character.

If her threats are true and she intends to join Fixthe26, I'm sure they will open their arms to her and accept her transphobic ass. It'll be like the hateful family she's never had before.

Be kind to each other, if an opinion doesn't sit well, use the ignore button, scroll past, or report to a mod. Just don't pull a 'Sherri'.
