What's going on here? Anyone else?

I couldn't get on this site with like 5 search engines. Not even the one i always use. Nothing worked. It kept taking me to error pages or not loading, or to a completely different site that I didn't search for. I looked on SS Twitter and didn't see anything. I finally downloaded another search engine and was able to get on, but for how long? It's getting harder and harder to access this site. Pretty soon we might not be able to. Was it hard for anyone else to get on today? Is there anything that I can do to prevent not being able to access the site?

I believe it was more of a tech issue, no one could access for quite a while today, one of the mods or admins may put something up as to what the deal was.

Thank you for the information! I looked to see if anyone had written about it but didnt see anything. I get nervous when something like this happens. I'm glad everything is back up and running. Sorry everyone who got worried when they couldn't get on as well.

I, in the end, since I could not access from TOR, I deduced that the fall was general, then when I was able to access the web and I saw that the number of users was as low as 75 I realized that I was sure, SaSu had fallen!.

They should update the information on alternative information channels to know the status of the service at any given time.

Yes, it was not loading. If the site goes down, then that is just the way that things are. Life is very unpredictable and uncertain after all. Only death will bring relief for me.

It's most likely just some boring technical problem, it's what I fix for a living, it's not very uncommon..

outages happen. there's so much that can go wrong, and unless site owners have a budget to pay someone to be on call 24/7, sometimes users just have to wait until someone gets around to fixing it

when I ran a forum, during my alcoholic phase the server would run out of disk space every week or so and I'd sometimes be too hungover to fix it, and too depressed to do proactive maintenance, the site would just be down for 4-12 hours at a time until I woke up from my alc/drug induced stupor.

I don't know , for some reason whenever I see a controversial site on the internet not functioning my brain is eager to
assume a malicious attack from the competition

I hope it gets resolved soon. Anybody know what exactly happened? I actually dont think a DDos is out of the question, it's happened to plenty of sites before so it's not like it's totally uncommon...

Yep. Don't know why it's happening but I'm assuming it's connected to the outage the site had.

My dumb-ass thought it was something I posted, because it went down right after I posted a comment. Only after an hour I remembered the site is frickin public, and even if I'd been banned I should still be able to access it.

That's what I was afraid of. It was my first thought.
I sent SS an im on their Twitter but didn't receive an answer.
This is the only place I have that helps at all. I was terrified. I finally found this place and I thought it was gone
