I do not think that clothing would make much difference on how successful the jump is, the thing that is important is the height of where the person is jumping from. I do not think I would ever get the courage for jumping anyway.
If you jump from high enough it shouldn't matter but I suppose it'd be best to minimize any padding, so no thick jackets or other such material. Tight fitting clothing makes some sense as well but I don't think it'd be necessary in most cases.

While jumping was still my method, I wanted to jump with a black trash bag over my head: poor attempt to reduce the splash or hide the head part, SI calming and conveys a message.
Normal clothes except I want to make sure my shoes are untied. They say that when the shoes fly off after impact with the ground, you're definitely dead /s

I heard clothes can act like a parachute and slow you down. So, I would jump naked. That would be a cool way of going. what's the difference anyway. Yeah. Go naked with a parachute, in case you change your mind on the way down.
