  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I will order N from D. Any suggestion if police will come to my flat? What to say them? How to behave?

I Think... More than anything they might try some scare tactics and try to intimidate / question you maybe? Idk,. Probably depends a lot on your location too. I wish you the best

Explain to them politely that you don't talk to the police without a lawyer present.

I would just hide it somewhere away from your property, and tell them the package got stolen from your front door/porch/etc, so you never received it

Depends on why they're going.
The best thing is not to give an answer and make use of silence. Answer what is necessary and if it is more serious say that you need a lawyer.

Hide it as soon as you get it. Don't over speak or admit to anything.

You could say that you ordered something else, and not N, and that the online store may have accidentally sent you the wrong item. In that case, do your research and see what that online store is selling besides N, so that you can tell the cops that you ordered something that's actually available at that online store, instead of N.

Now, I'm not sure if D is selling anything else, so I'm only going off of what could be said, depending on how that seller's website works.

It depends what the situation is in your jurisdiction. You said "flat" so I'm guessing UK.

When you get access to the search function, I'd suggest you look for threads specifically about this situation. A good strategy in some other country won't necessarily help you.

Please let us know if you receive your order etc.

Stand your ground if there's a visit. They need a warrent to enter and search your home. They will use pushy tactics to put you on the backfoot and allow them in and give them info. Be ready for that and politely tell them you are okay and don't need assistance. Don't allow them to push their way into the house else you'll struggle to get rid of them and they bleed conversation out of you. It's your right to say nothing and ask them to leave.

Make sure you're package out of the home if you can. Dark and cool place that has a regular stable temperature.
