so i have a few questions...

Will anyone have access to my emails/accounts/internet history exc when i CTB?

What are you planning to do in regard to all of that?

I dont care about any of my personal stuff except my journal collection... Should i throw it out or is it possible to arrange maybe someone doing that...

I know that CTB is final... I worry about failing and then erasing all that..

What are some things to remember to so and leave behind?

I would wipe out all data on my phone--emails, passwords, any access to this website, privacy info, browsing history, etc.
And just leave music on my phone.

Anyone who will have physical access to your computer/phone after you CTB will almost certainly be able to access your online accounts and history. Make sure to wipe your internet history and cookies, and sign out of any apps on your phone. If you fail or change your mind you can just log back on again and you wont lose anything.

Its possible that your next of kin might be able to access some of your private data online by petitioning Facebook/Google/whoever directly, but I doubt they'd give anyone full access to that stuff.

Personally I have some stuff that I would like to be preserved, but I know that if I tried to talk to anyone about it they'd just try to stop me.

Wait his do they access your stuff though? Like does someone let them onto it?

& why that's horrible and so invasive. Just bc someone died doesn't mean you have the right to look at everything.....

Ugh guess I'm a have to erase it all...

(Rant incoming :p)
Like if i would never show then in rl why would i want them to see just bc i die. Such a lack of respect towards the dead man

I don't know what to leave behind really, however I'll certainly clean my browser history and my appartment.
Maybe I might leave not a full-on note, but requests such as cremation instead of burial and to keep my death in secret as long as possible, until people notice on their own. Although I'm not sure if it's possible.

I have already prepared some scheduled e mails to be sent via gmail. And also, since I am going to ctb at a hotel, I will send the address (as a scheduled e mail also) because I don't really want the hotel staff to call the media and all that shit. I will delete every message of my phone, every photo and information (about this website too, don't want them to find you out). I have already started deleting some of them. I am planing on leaving early that day so no one sees me, I will say my good byes two days prior to the day I have it planned for.

I don't really recommend gmail because Boomerang and/or other services may detect potential suicide notes in emails and alert the authorities. And/or sometimes I heard Boomerang is glitchy and could send delayed/scheduled emails out at inappropriate times (before you CTB). Also, do NOT use Timecave as @TiredHorse has made a thread regarding it and how he almost got into trouble with the authorities questioning him.

All I have left is my little dog, Chucho. I have considered having him euthanized when I ctb; I want to be cremated; he would join me. This is what haunts me; what will happen to him? He is a nervous little guy who has bonded closely with me over the years. Does anyone feel this is wrong of me?

Can't you take Chucho to a shelter, to give him at least another shot at life? But if he wouldn't handle that, euthanasia -- if you are there holding and stroking and soothing him -- could be kinder. My son's daxie slipped a disc badly two weeks after he committed suicide at age 25, and had to be euthansied: we sat with her and saw her peacefully out of life, the way we couldn't do for my beloved son, and now like to picture them roaming the stars together, a boy and his dog. Best still, can't you reconsider ending you life, and stay for little Chucho, and others who love you, and who need your love? My son left a note on his computer -- if you truly must go, please do that at least, to give family and friends some explanation, some degree of comfort. He also left a brief history of the sites he visited, suggesting how long and intense and thorough and thoughtful his search for a peaceful, clean, considerate solution was, and we value that. The agony of losing someone to suicide is as indescribable as the agony that prompts you to consider it -- and it goes on for the rest of our lives, long after you have exited yours. Three months since my son left us, the gaping hole in our hearts and existence is as raw as ever, and the questions keep whirling around it. Please think again, before opting for suicide. Think hard. Sending much love across the ether and wishing I could help ease your pain. Please give professionals in the field another chance to try!?

Are your journals digital?

I don't like the idea of permanently getting rid of stuff and then surviving without it. My solution was to pay for an online backup account only I know about and save everything. When it's time, I'll delete/factory reset my devices. If I die, it's all good and the backups will be deleted when my subscription is up. If I live, I can always retrieve my data later.

For Facebook, you can set you account to be permanently deleted when Facebook knows about your death. More here: https://www.facebook.com/help/103897939701143

The last thing a hotel is going to do is to call media if someone commits suicide there. Not exactly what any establishment wants to be known for.

There are like tons of docs in the whole Google drive, everyone uses it so why would they even reach to read your own?

If you cleaned your apartment, what you going to do if your attempt failed? Please take the posibility of your attempt to fail seriously. I wrote about my experience with my failed attempt here

Gmail already supports scheduled emails without Boomerang.

this isn't a real valid technical argument. there's tonnes of emails as well. the same algorithms that run on your emails can and do run on google drive as well.
so if gmail isn't a valid option, neither is google drive. beware.
