the hypocrisy

"i dont like you because you dont want to tell me how you are"
answers the question (im suicidal so obviously not with the answer they want)
"i dont like you because you answered the question"

then why the hell am i talking to anyone. im really sick and tired of other peoples abusive behaviour being my problem.

That sociopaths and narcissists do well in our society because they are ruthless and without remorse. Most companies I've worked for have a few in lower management roles. They are the ones to sack people, reduce their hours, cut their pay, discipline people and they seem to enjoy it. They get paid well because there is more risk involved but generally- asides from their job, it's the company and other employees they put at risk. Seeing as I don't think they particularly care about people they have influence over- I don't think they even perceive risk in the same way 'normal' people do. So- they're getting 'danger money' for making life changing decisions for others I doubt they find at all difficult to make.

Plus, just the general distribution of wealth in society. How some people earn astronomical amounts and others can barely survive. It's not that people shouldn't be rewarded for honing their skills but the difference in people's earnings is appalling.

idk... Whatever the heck causes me to have a bad social life. I suppose that not everyone shares common interests or pretends to be open/tolerant but is exactly the opposite?

Constantly having to worry about how much money I got in my pocket.

Worship of material reality. Placing value on glamour/illusion. Trying to build something on a foundation of lies. Idk why this is the way we choose to go in modern society. Flashy pretty lies are more valuable than the ugly truth. Anonymous casual hookups based on some tall tales you told to a stranger at a bar (more likely on an app cause god knows people don't meet in public anymore) instead of actually showing your scars and letting someone see who you actually are. Our values are weird. Its all about appearance. Not about anything of substance

the realization that life is.... 'not what it says in the brochure'.. All the things that i mistakenly trusted in my youth were
just propaganda & social conditioning.
that there is no let up in the pursuit of progress that disregards the environment & inevitably has its casualties,
...and that authorities think that its O.K. to carry out 'welfare checks' on people
...and there is still countries where the elderly are denied the security of a peaceful assisted exit from suffering.
