I know most of the time nothing does, but what made you feel a bit happy this week?
For me it's finding this place and Gas Monkey's set up that looks like fighter jet seat and feels like a TARDIS
Sheakespear's Hamlet and new actors I find playing him well
Almost nailing the song I like on guitar

This is such a difficult question. I've lost the ability to feel happy. I used to have a million hobbies, a million interests. Bit by bit, I've lost interest in all of them. Nothing excites me anymore. Sometimes when I am doom scrolling social media, I'll see a cool new musical instrument that I'd like to play, or some beautiful hike I'd like to go on, and there's a drop of joy in me but it dries up in two seconds. Mainly because I know I will never be able to afford to buy those instruments, and I will never be able to afford to travel to any of those places. But also because all I really want is to stop existing.

Haha, that's a bit hard. I'd call it more a "distraction" rather than happiness.

There's a game that was release back in January called Heartopia. The game is so innocent, chill and cute, that it's been giving me some sense of escapism and tranquility. It's similar to animal crossing! And I always wanted to play that game. It has been fun, yes.

How's the light pollution over where you live? I always wanted to go somewhere remote or for my city to blackout once so I can see for myself what a true night sky really looks like.

yeah tbh a proper starry sky is kinda rare but once in a while it does happen and when it does the wait is worth it also if the moon looks beautiful too i can just stare at it for hours
there is a ground nearby and it just makes me wanna lay down and just enjoy the night there lol
also sky at day time isnt too bad either if it has just the right amount of clouds tho if i had to pick a favourite it will probably be night

Real joy? Nothing or at least nothing like I remember feeling. Occasionally a song will trigger a glimmer of something but it's fleeting. Like someone else said the "highs" are more like brief distractions from the rest of it.

Everything is . . . So gray (when it's not black).

Oooo! Musical or plays? What's your fave list?
for watching, both, for actually acting in, i've only been in plays so far though i would love to be in a musical one day, but i'm still working on my dancing skills.

my favorites list, for musicals, i did just see a local production heathers and liked that a lot. my room mate and my best friend were both in the ensemble for it. also wicked, starlight express, cats, and death becomes her, though i have only seen the slime tutorials on those.

for straight plays, my favorites (either that i acted in or just have seen) are: shakespeare in love, goverment inspector, brother's grimm spectatulathon, rent, chicago, legoland and a midsummer night's dream plus a few very unknown ones that were written by local playwrights and aren't really known.

what are your favorites?
