What should I draw?

I wanna draw so bad but I'm having artist block and can't think of anything to draw and when I finally do think of something, it comes out looking like crap:( gimme ideas

Do you want it to be creative or drawing just for the sake of it.

When I studied art in school we were taught to draw and paint still life objects or people or photos.

Yeah we also do that at school but still life is boring. I prefer creative weird characters or something. But everything I draw lately has been trash lol

Do you get inspired from reading books or TV, some people do a portrait of compelling moment in a story. Like in the Renaissance days there were alot of paintings sculptures etc based on biblical stories, two artists would paint the same event but the two paintings wouldn't be anything like eachother.

Not saying you should get a Bible, how about characters/events in a book based on your perception.

Anime fan here. Everyone is really into Kimetsu no Yaiba.
I love the Taisho Era so if you don't feel like drawing the characters, maybe you can draw an original character in taisho style clothes
