Could be emotional, health-related, whatever.
I think about playing the original Sims game as a kid. It was pretty tough to actually take care of your Sims and meet all their needs - with fluctuating ratings for hunger, fatigue, cleanliness, happiness, etc - while having them work a job to pay for the house. As an 8 year old, it didn't make sense: "what do you mean you're too tired to eat? You're hungry!" "You're too depressed to shower? But you just said you felt too dirty to play games!" "You're too lonely to sleep? I don't understand that at all. You'll miss work and lose your job..."
Obviously growing up, being depressed and suicidal . . . I think back on this and it hits home, probably more than intended. If you aren't balanced, it can throw everything off, and it's often cyclical. Eg., Depressed => tired => not eating => depressed.
Personally, I realized with some threads on here yesterday that I'm sexually frustrated. Being loved and getting innocent affection is not scratching that itch of wanting to be physically desired (and deeper psychological needs about being controlled, but that's another topic). Thanks to Sims logic, now I can't sleep lol, which will lead to me being tired tomorrow and maybe missing breakfast or lunch, etc. 8 year old me is rolling his eyes so hard.
So how about you? Which bar is low?
