I'm in the process of getting a Will drawn up with a solicitor, who are also named as the Executors, in which i will explicitly state that i do not want any sort of funeral, so eg a direct cremation, and ashes disposed of by the crematorium and not returned to my next of kin.
In the UK the executor of the Will is responsible for arranging the funeral. If you dont name one, by default the executor is your next of kin, who can do whatever they like. They don't have to follow your wishes if they choose not to.
So no tunes for me.

I don't want a funeral either and would prefer to be cremated (and most likely left to the state) and not leave or allow any family members access to my ashes

but if I had no choice and my wishes weren't respected I would burn a CD with Party Rock on it to confuse everyone/catch everyone's attention and then in the middle it's just a recording of me calling out the people I don't want to be at the funeral and airing out all of their dirty laundry and then it just cuts back to the song (as a final joke or F.U. to some of the people who treated me badly)

On a serious Note: funerals are not made for the dead. It is mostly a way to cope for loved ones. They are up to decide. Whatever makes them feel comforted.
