You hear about the bucket method being used with hangings. Usually older males with family in the home or out of courtesy for a stranger who may find them.

I think it depends (get it?) on the domestic situation. I usually hear about older fathers/grandfathers doing this. Not people who may feel victimized or abused by their families.
Just do what you feel comfortable with. At the end of the day, first responders have seen it all.
A lot of adult diapers literally look just like underwear. In my opinion I would rather be seen wearing absorbent underwear than a pad. Because some men find period products gross (they are immature).
this is one of my biggest worries! i think thats why drowning is so appealing to me, but i dont think theres much i can do. i really dont like the idea of sitting in a bathtub full of my own shit and piss, even if i am dead.
Everything is temporary, including messes.
I've wondered if anyone would go this route. I've seen methods that included fasting as part of the process but never seen someone prep like they would for a meditative/religious/spiritual experience. Fasting for several days, cleansing yourself holistically, all that kinda stuff.
I wonder if it's like "my final mark on the world", looking to leave some final proof that you existed?
I read about the voice actor for Dale from King of the Hill. They found him in his bathtub so badly decomposed they couldn't run toxicology tests. I guess it depends how long before you are found. Now you got me going down the bathtub drowning rabbit hole. Whitney Houston, Her daughter, Dolores O'Riordan, Aaron Carter, Orvill Redenbacher (heart attack in the tub).
