I think I maxed out the free mensa (lol) test with the psychologist, I think I got 137 or 127? and then was asked if I wanted to do the full paid version that can measure more?? and I said no, don't remember but apparently there was a paid version that I didn't bother to take anyways because it seemed kinda boring to me. But that is only pattern recognition isn't it??? What does that have to do with intelligence, I played games at the time, lots of games, lots of puzzle games, lots of strategy, fast paced, etc.
Obviously when you're gonna give a pattern recognition test to someone who plays games and is also autistic/adhd and steps into "the right tiles" on the side walk as they walk or looks at the tiles on the bathroom floor and walls and gets angry that they are not perfectly alligned, they're gonna score close to the max. That just means they like to see cool patterns and follow them because they're interesting.
Anyways, if IQ test is basically pattern recognition and that's it, it's kind of a shit test, that doesn't prove anything intelligence wise. I just like patterns and puzzles.
