My mom on her death bed. She was comatose and non-responsive the last night I saw her. I was the last person to see her "alive".

When I was like 10, me, my mother and her boyfriend were sitting in the car in front of our apartment, when we suddenly saw a huge crowd across the street.

We were joking about it but my mom was too afraid to see what was going on, so me and her boyfriend went. Really wish I hadn't because it was 4 year old who fell out his window (mind you, we really lived in super tall apartments and he apparently lived on the last floor.)

My mother's boyfriend started crying, meanwhile I was freaked out and didn't really know how to process what I saw. I still live in the neighbor, so I think about this moment all the time.

I don´t know about the saddest but the most horrific was watching cartel videos beheading a father while his son watches and after that his son got his stomach cut open and his heart pulled out while alive I couldn´t finish the video I hate torture.

Btw I have watched gore for 8 years and there was only 3 videos I couldn´t finish I just hate torture, even in my philosphy class a few years back we were to raise our hands if we would torture 10 people to save 10.000 and I was the only one who didn´t because if 10K people just got shot the in the brain the wouldn´t feel anything but the 10 people tortured would suffer and I don´t like suffering.

Two YouTube videos - first video of Spanish-speaking men throwing cute, tiny, puppy over fence into alligator pit and laughing while puppy screams in pain being eaten piece by piece .... second video of Chinese men skinning dogs alive for their fur - to make dog/cat souvenirs people buy at gift shops - then throwing their bodies in a trash pile and they die slowly with only their eyelashes left/moving writhing in extreme pain/shock wondering what the FUC* just happened to them and why someone did this to them. I cannot forget either ....... don't know how/why I watched the videos but am sick just remembering them. The planet would be great if it weren't for ...... humans.

I read an online article long ago about a ~10 year old kid who had gotten his arm ripped off by a bear at the zoo, apparently the father had convinced him it was okay to reach in and pet it. There was a picture and the kid was bawling while standing there bloody without his arm, it really hurt me how anguished he was and I couldn't forget it for a long time. He didn't even have a chance to grow up like normal because his father was outright evil and put him into danger.

When I was a child, maybe about 8 or 9, I was outside and our family dog was in the neighbor's yard. He saw me, got really excited, and ran to me wagging his tail. He ran right into the street trying to get to me, and got run over by a line of cars.

He lived, but it broke his back and he crawled the rest of the way to me dragging his back legs. My parents hired someone to shoot and bury him the next day. That has haunted me my entire life.

It took many efforts to keep the eyes opened. I paused countless times. But the motivation was to be informed. Getting the bold truth in the way meant trauma to the young me. It did downgrade my evaluation of race and life. Many stop the viewing, estimated intolerable. It's understandable. It's a right. But it's also disrespectful for the victims to simply turn away and refute their reality. I don't mind the excuses and arguments to not take life changing actions if watched entirely. Otherwise, it really doesn't show the least amount of solidarity or decency. Ask yourself if you're not a weak lame psychopath

Indirectly : being called in the middle of the night for rescue by a molested person who had been waited for at his front porch, to be beaten with fists and nunchaku by several contracted bad boys. The action was ordered, paid for to buy the silence of the victim. The aggressions continued and the persecuted person decided to hang, unable to sustain the pressure. Sick twisted story, too long to develop

I got a lot that that could go on this list but it had to be the one video where a man was crying over his wife and child who just got ran over by a car. The pain he had stayed with me.

A dog in china being strung up by its neck and cooked alive with a blow torch, yelping as it was being cooked. They think the more the animal suffers as it dies, the better the meat will taste, so they inflict as much pain on it as possible and purposefully kill it slowly.

Also an animal in china again (forget what animal) being skinned alive, basically being turned inside out. The look on its face after it had been skinned i will never forget.

I've seen a couple of vids of kids being beaten which were horrible. I've seen some of the cartel vids. This is going to sound bad but i'm not quite as shocked at these than i am at kid and animal cruelty. Seen a few men injuring women vids that were bad.

When I was 15 I was tripping on lsd at a friend's house. He and his dad left to get food and when they came back they were fighting. The son was yelling "what kind of father doesn't buy his son a cheep sandwich " and the dad starts beating his kid with a broom stick.
The son called the cops.The group of kids I was with hid upstairs while the cops made sure the kid was ok.

The cruelest thing I have seen is parents WILLINGLY and DELIBERATELY bringing their unborn children into a world which they know has the potential to cause them IMMENSE PAIN AND SUFFERING.

This is the pinnacle of cruelty in my opinion. Simply callous, reckless and inhumane.

Can't say for sure, I've seen a lot of sad shit. But something that makes me really sad and infuriated is when people treat animals like shit, or seeing people kill for sport..

I was in intensive care for quite a while when I was 13 years old, and I was placed in a room with a small baby, probably around a year old. I can't remember the exact details of it because of how long ago it was, but essentially he'd been born with severe deformities of most of his internal organs, especially his heart. This tiny little baby was just full of tubes and covered in wires hooked up to machines. He wasn't going to make it very long, and I know his parents were hoping he'd be well enough for them to take him home one last time. I found out later on that he died in hospital just a few days after I left intensive care. I still think I shouldn't have been the one who got to leave that room.
