Impulsiveness can get the better of me too, I cannot keep my mouth shut for the life of me so the most stupid things will come out of my mouth!! I believe in you though, I am sure that someday you will have a day where you are less awkward and embarrassing than usual and it will be a triumphant day!! ..as silly as I have worded it. Keep trying to do your best!!!

On the bright side, not everyone cares. I can't think of anyone cringe enough to bother me. If anything, the people who never feel that way and think they are always right make me more uncomfortable.

I once got an extremely strange and improbable-seeming text message that I assumed was from some spammer. I would have given even odds as to whether the "author" was even human. It read like the almost-English composed by AI's. It was a local exchange, but spammers and robocallers spoof those all the time, trying to trick you into answering.

I was sort of interested in the sophistication level of the "AI" in question, so I sent back a snarky answer that imitated the grammatically correct but ultimately nonsensical things that AI's produce. I wanted to see what "it" would say.

Yeah, it was an actual person who dialed a wrong number. I think what happened was she was distracted while sending the message, and didn't notice that her phone's predictive text function was generating partial gibberish.

I ended up apologizing profusely to the lady.

The more I try to not be awkward the more awkward i end up becoming, so I stop paying attention and try to just be. Say the first thing that comes to my mind, and if I misunderstood, I'll just try to laugh it off.
