What is the best way to do partial hanging without collapsing the trachea?

Heya, really need advice on how to do partial hanging without collapsing the trachea as that's a big fear that is stopping from going through with it.

i think you would have to collapse it... so you can't breathe. you may be thinking of night night where you restrict blood flow to the brain.
