I am sure there are none that don't piss me off.
But one thing that has always irritated me is the amount of money sports stars get paid. I only learned the other day that here in the US baseball has no salary cap. Now that I think about it, it explains why it gets so much news here when somebody signs an especially lucrative contract. But it should be fucking illegal . Just think of all that could be done to help the world with that money….

Our class based system which is unjustifiable. Watching people defend the existence of poverty, of "classes" of people is disgusting, as are the people that do the defending.

Racial inequality, gender inequality, LGBTQ+ inequality, class inequality, and disability inequality. Racial, LGBTQ+, and class inequality especially tend to piss me off.

This might be a bit overly misanthropic, but humans suck absolute ass at giving one another a second chance at life.
  • Mental health patients are treated like cattle with no value to their word nor person
  • Drug/theft criminals (many of whom steal and deal or do drugs out of addiction or necessity) get exorbitant prison sentences. Public sentiment sets them up for failure afterward
  • Having a job in a corporation is like perpetually walking through a minefield. You are so replaceable, that at any moment, one of your slip-ups can be used as ammunition to deprive you of your job and, most often, your career
There's too much more, and a lot of esoteric and situational ones.

You're right, but the powers that be say you completely have the power to change your circumstances. Even though the odds of society, economics, etc are stacked and rigged against you, the same powers that be, simultaneously obfuscate and invalidate those odds, whilst working with institutes to make sure the nations status quo opinion agrees the disabled are leeches enabling them to pass legislation with zero fucks given, zero accountability.

Example suicide note and abuse from the system and collaboration to keep the staus quo..

"My benefits were cut, so I decided to end my life, I learnt from educational sources for the least risky, least painless, most peaceful option, as these are restricted research interests in the public realm"

Journalist, government, health professionals - "Sad loss, troubled person, had visit a unhealthy website telling him how to die"

That's reality. That's how it works. Narrative damage control. Why the reluctance to my actual truth? Oh right, it exposes the failings of those dipping their hand in your pay cheque. 🤔🙄

Yes, the fact that being disabled, sick, or injured disadvantages a person in nearly every aspect of life, despite the fact that we are supposed to be living in spite of nature's laws now, everything is still designed to not be accomodating to the "weak" in society.

Not only is it nearly impossible to get disability benefits in most countries, but you will forever be in poverty if you do get them. If you want to work a part time job, most countries won't let you make very much on top of your benefits, if anything, and there are few part time jobs in the first place.

Most companies don't want to hire disabled people. Working schedules are designed for the healthy and able-bodied, with no flexibility. People will think you must have made "the wrong choices" to live like this. It's very hard to relate to those without disabilities when you do not live in their world, so to speak. A great deal of society will just think you are a leech for absolutely no reason.

The zero accountability faced by those 'on high' e.g. CEOs/politicians and all their mates where even half their mistakes being performed by us minions get picked up on instantly with no excuses allowed.

This really grinds my gears. A lot of disabled people are not 100% dysfunctional, and are in fact able--and willing!--to do some amount of work, but with the way work and the benefits system is currently structured, they aren't given the option to put their capabilities to good use. There are a lot of jobs that don't even have an excuse for this, as they could be done remotely and asynchronously.

People have a lot to say about the disabled but they don't realize that participation in society is a two-way street.

It's unfair that I didn't die at birth/was never born, from there you can pick as many inequalities as you want but that's the first one.

Also corporate marketing bs. Using science and anything/everything to literally make us buy loads of 'stuff' no matter the impact of it - as long as they get profit out of it. Kind of loops back to my point above about zero accountability - cream their profit and then disappear or deny when things are proven false or virtually fraud or even dangerous to the public.

I feel this way about pretty much every celebrity, not even just sports stars…. But sports stars do make ludicrous amounts of money. I've personally never been into sports and was never obsessive about it like other people were so I guess the popularity of it all flies over my head.

Agreed 100%.

Yeah because in the end people are always going to value brawn over brains. People have a survival of the fittest ideal which is what contributes to ableism.

What infuriates me the most is people that act like they are activists, but only within the bubbles they already live in. They don't extend support to anyone they don't immediately relate to. Or even sometimes will judge their own demographic for being of a lower class or struggling more than them. It's always more about reputation to people than actually making a difference and being there in times of adversity. People like that spend more time making sure everyone knows how much of a SJW they are than actually doing anything that helps anyone. I like to refer to people like that as the Pharisees of activisms.
