Like we're told constantly that "there is a reason you're here" or "suffering builds character". Why couldn't it also be that maybe some of us are here to commit suicide for a reason? Like as an example to certain people? Or that our suicide would cause grief to family and friends, yes, but maybe they would get stronger and build character from the grief of us dying?
The fact that this angle of the issue is not considered proves that these cringe statements are just said to condition people against the right to die peacefully. Because the burden of enduring suffering is only laid on the suicidal person who's had enough.
