That there is no limit as to how cruel existence is. Rock bottom doesn't exist, existing can always get much more torturous, beyond how one can even imagine.

"Succeeding" is largely based on the advantages/opportunities you are born with/fall into.
And even if you have those you can easily lose it all.
Most of us are meant to fail and provide meat for the meat grinder of civilization. It is set up that way.
And yet a vast majority of people will fight and argue for the chance to provide their meat and never let anything change.
