Yes. Me too. I will be forcing myself to go outside and take short walks this winter. Because I can't find anything that interests me when I'm in the gutter, so I figure maybe some forced exercise to at least help me feel like I've accomplished something.
It's good that you can motivate yourself in this way, if you're deeply depressed and/ or anxious, it's very difficult to do stuff. I have these but also chronic fatigue, and spend far too much time in bed. It can do a little bit of good to just get out now and then. It really is a case of one small step at a time.

Still haven't gotten close to doing that. Just want to feel numb right now. Maybe going out and freezing to death would be simplest.

I don't want you to think i am encouraging you, but death by hypothermia is meant to come quite quickly. If someone is wet and they are in the freezing cold they are particularly vulnerable.

I've been trying to learn a few languages or learn about database, though it's not helping
I struggle to enjoy anything so any hobby I do pick up or focus on, is just to pass the hours, days and weeks of this horrible life.

Yes, it's difficult at times to enjoy anything. Even the most basic things, i hope things turn around for you even if they are, or seem hopeless right now.

I haven't started any new hobbies but actively participate in the ones I have always had. RPGs, miniature gaming, model building, reading, painting figures, paintball/airsoft.

I like speed cubing, keeps my hands and mind busy. Trying to read more, but I'm having a hard time focusing and really getting immersed in a book when full of worry and anxiety

i've tried a few things, but anything that i become so infatuated with that i forget anything else helps. anything that forces me outside is good too, but it's hard to remain consistent

Sometimes when energy in you and toward you is negative. Its hard to keep your mind busy and focused and enjoy this activity all together. I might try to lessen negative energy in and around me first. but I would like to engage in near future perhaps in an activity such us adding text on clothes or even walls. No designining nor having any idea how to do so whatsoever. Otherwise i might want to learn how to make specific type of drinks like smoothis, milkshakes, mojito، cappuccino, or draw smth on a coffee foam..etc.

l will say, being the bitter dude that I am, I have gotten some good use out of youtube and other sites when it comes to hobbies. I started getting into smoking and bbq years ago just on a whim and watching how people do it. Same with cooking, just see what works and the methods (it's not brain surgery usually). Not everything works out perfectly but it's just a hobby and mistakes = learning.

For me the only consistent interests are books and video games, everything else usually lasts less than 3 months. I used to be interested in so, so many things, I tried a lot but none of it stuck. Right now I'm re-reading my favorite books from my childhood. I'm thinking of buying a cheap drawing tablet and giving digital art another go in the new year but "historically" I've never been all that patient with drawing.

It is after the fact, not something I feel right away. But trying something you're not an "expert" on and making it decent is a nice feeling. I'm not entering bbq competitions but having an edible meal that tried something new to make it is good. And the more you do something the more you learn. Lots of people put out the "I'm going to be a <whatever> expert and make videos, etc" when it's fine just to have a hobby you like doing no matter why or how good you do it. I don't compare myself critically to other miniature painters; I learn techniques and get advise but I don't judge my work to theirs. I've been watching the 18th century living videos of Townsend & Sons. Going to try making plum pudding one day the old way. If it turns out like paste, just chuck it out. But I'll give it a try, and I'm a big "I won't attempt it cause I'll just fuck it up guy" so this is a form of therapy to push away from that side of me.

Going on late night forest walks really helps me, just walking through the woods near my house with some music on, either watching the snow fall or looking at the stars. It's becoming less viable due to my new meds making me weaker and the weather getting colder, still, I'd really like to start going at least once a week again.

I am trying to get back into gaming. I went through some periods in the last few years where I put in a lot of hours at Dark souls and Resident evil games but usually burn out. Nonetheless, it's something I come back to every now and then. I spend most of my time on here, playing instruments, and listening to music though. That distracts me pretty well some of the time.
