Discussion What does your inner voice sound like?

Kinda a weird question. But when I think or read something... my voice sounds different from my actual voice. It kinda sounds like me, but it's more like a kid voice. Higher pitch and... yeah.

My voice dropped a while back but my inner voice never caught up. I don't talk much so when I actually do it's kinda trippy because I expect my voice to be way higher than it actually is...

I'm in love with the voice that I hear inside my head. It is at the same time sweet, fluid and sexy ....the fall is that obviously it doesn't match the external one people hear :) fuckity fuck. I hate the difference because the control is hard to apply. For instance when singing, it's not a good tool to have what you think getting out being passed into some natural filter effects of awkwardness ^^

My inner voice sounds much like my external aside from the fact that it won't let me look at things from an unrealistic perspective. It has a tendency to force me to look at reality in a logical way, and eliminates the potential's of Extreme pessimism or hopeless optimism. I appreciate it keeping me in check as far as not getting too depressed, but I think it's kind of a dick for not letting me ever have groundless faith that things will be just fine.

My inner voice is like a panel board filled with people that have given me shit over the years. They just remind me all the time what a terrible person I am, that it's all my fault bad shit happens to me because I enabled their behavior, and that I was never really sexually abused as a child because I "enjoyed" it. My inner child killed himself years ago, and then when he came back, I killed him again.

Usually blank lol. Like that head empty no thoughts meme. I'm just not aware of things, always kinda clueless and zoned out. Its only ever caused me problems at work.

When I think, I usually think in pictures, scenarios, or music. Sometimes all three, like little movies. I only have an inner monolouge when I read, study, or feel negatively. And my inner monolouge is only in the first-person when I'm very depressed. It's like my brain goes black and I only hear that voice that's like "I'm so stupid, I'm a failure," etc.
