Discussion What does "SI" mean on this forum?

I only know it in regards to my job, where SI means suicidal ideation. But here it seems different. I see people use it when they refer to hesitation or backing out of a suicide attempt. What does it mean?

Depends on the context of the conversation but mainly, Survival instinct, where your mind kicks in and does everything it can to stay alive, when you are desperately trying to end it
