What do you think happens after death?

I believe in reincarnation and past lives. I think our consciousness/energy transfers into a new being. Which sucks because eternal rest sounds a lot more peaceful.

I believe that when we die, we cease to exist and that is it for us we are gone. There is simply nothing after this. Death is just like how before we were born where time passed and yet we were not aware of anything. I very strongly believe this to be true and this is why the thought of death is so comforting to me.

Is there a reason you think we have only one life, and don't have multiple lives where we're reborn?

Theres no evidence of such a thing as reincarnation. I simply believe it to be a fictional concept. I just have a strong feeling that there is nothing after this. I've always believed that. No matter what people were to say it could never convince me that theres something after death.

I also think reincarnation is possible. After all, we somehow ended up here. Hard to think this is the only life we get

Yeah. It's hard for me to believe I didn't exist for millions of years, showed up in 1991, and then I'll disappear forever after this life.

I agree with the OP. I think we'll go straight from dying to some vague perception of being in an an egg or a womb.

Yeah, like a rebirth. I don't know if we'd come back as human, animals, or plants though. They're all living things. Humans are definitely treated the best out of all those options though.

i think smoking DMT before you decide to go may give you some insight or maybe not everyone is different. in recent years after a lot of research i believe we are living in a simulation and when we die our energy/data goes back to the source.

It seems in some religions, such as Buddhism, it is possible to practice and reach certain level to avoid rebirth in hell or other lower realms.

Sufficient to say I've had experiences in life that persuade me to believe in the soul and that it lives on somehow after death. The reason I haven't killed myself yet is because I believe my soul does not want me to do it at this time.

The rise of human civilisations probably has squeezed out many species. There is probably an overall shortage of vacancies. Many souls are probably stuck on waiting list.

If there is reincarnation, I have seen near death experience (nde) videos in which we go back to out real home and then we may be sent out on another life, like we were sent out on this one.

Maybe it's a bad idea to call a place home. People then start building fences around it, defending it, making it bigger, fighting others, breaking symbiosis with environment, nature and the universe.

I believe the spirit never dies. I grew up in the Catholic 'Heaven or Hell' system but I wholly do not believe this is such. We are all energy. Bad energies, good energies. We are entities and that's it. This video has helped me recently on my realizations of life and the meta existence. DNA is what is used to make the meatsuit we are put into, then in comes the spirit. When we die, our spirit leaves and goes to another wavelength. We do not die. We are all components of the universe as God is the the universe and the possibly limitless multiverses there could be.

What is the soul? Energy.
What is the sun? I thought it was a ball of fire but it's plasma, electricity... Energy.

All creatures on earth has the same soul energy from the sun

Matter cannot be created or destroyed everything changes. I eat life forms, they reincarnate into me. But consciousness is data recorded in our brains, we don't have access to the giant universal brain on a fully conscious level the same way I don't fully feel each of my cells.

Each lufe form have a common unicellular ancestor that multiplued & formed collonies that have adapted to the environment. We literally are clones of the same person, the same person, ONE. Exploring every paths of quantum physics. All visible all at once.

So I don't mind dying because I think I can't serve much purpose. But pain can be the best teacher. Loneliness makes it easier to have new ideas.

I am immortal.

If the sun dies... The entire universe is probably one too.

And that, we, are god. Evolving, exploring. To be. To live is the purpose itself of life. As if our consciousness itself allowed the universe to exist. Perhaps our mind energy is what make the planet turn, who knows. I sure feel like my life is in circles...

I'm worried to be reincarnated into worse (chicken in a cage). It takes so long to be adult & explore, maybe the universe has more for me to withness.

Reincarnation is the only reason to do good things with effects beyond one's life time. If people don't keep chicken in a cage, there will be no chance of reincarnating into chicken in a cage.

I have no hard and fast beliefs, but I am partial to reincarnation, in the negative Prison Planet Theory sense. It makes the most sense to me based on how this world works and and the information/evidence of that beyond this construct from so many people and theologies. So I'm gonna be avoiding that white light and refusing any coercion or guilting that may take place after I die and yeet myself out of the physical universe ASAP. Hopefully I'll bypass all of it. Even better, hopefully it's not true. But I do prefer to be aware of any potential traps, no matter how unlovely they are, because I am so terrified of and disgusted by this place.
