To add to the OP's question, why are some names that are crossed out grey in colour while others are coloured?

I think the reason why some crossed out names are coloured is because on this website there is the option to put a colour on your username or just keep it on default. Once an username is crossed out then it will stay the same colour it's been set as, if it hasn't been set on a colour the username will be grey.Similar threads
