I know that the question probably has been asked hundreds of times, but I'm a bit lost and wanna hear your thoughts

I have a friend(?) from another country. We've been talking for a month already. We are having fun, and there are some romantic feelings too. I didn't show my depressed side to them, and didn't tell about my chronic health problems that are making me feel suicidal.

Looks like I'll have to ctb soon. It gets worse for me. I don't wont to suffer anymore. The question is what should i do? Just leave them silently without saying a thing as if i got to some accident and died? Or come up with some abstract shit? Don't want them to feel bad about ourselves or doubt everything that has been said between us during our convo. But i don't think it's possible.

Telling the truth isn't an option, I'm not comfortable to share it with any living person.

Thanks, I'll appreciate every response and advice.

i think the best way is just scheduling messages to be sent automatically a few days later. if ur attempt fails, u can just cancel them and if it works, they'll be informed

I told an online friend who then somehow dox'd me and alerted my fucking sister to me having SN T-T so now i'm in the ward >w<

that being said, I would also recommend scheduling a message for after the fact (>人<;)

The question is what should i do?
My 3 cents are - if you truly consider that person a friend, with romantic feelings even then honesty is a must. If you are afraid of being doxxed or want to avoid certain drama typically associated with passing such information, you can, as others mentioned, schedule the information to be sent with specific delay but lying about it, making it into an accident or leaving the person you love (platonically or romantically) in the dark? No, i don't think it's a good idea. If you have any positive feelings and respect towards that person, they don't deserve such treatment.

I told them I was doing it. Sent them a letter and everything. Terrible thing is that I'm still here and they think I'm dead

I planned to send a scheduled message to my online friends.

Nothing much, basically thanking them for the good time and saying goodbye.

Personally, I think they're deserved to be informed at the very least. These are the people I care about and just disappear without saying goodbye feels cruel.
