  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

what did my therapist advise me ?Sharing your experience of visiting .,
.the therapist said that I need to write down something beautiful that I will see in life .
I bought a pack of markers and pencils and I'm trying to write it down.
for example, yesterday I saw a beautiful snow tree. I 'm from Russia , so we have a lot of snow , but it 's melting fast now .But there was a lot of snow yesterday .
When you go home , you remember beautiful places from sketches .
It 's been a month since I 've been sketching .
It became a little easier .
In any case, if you haven't been to a your's therapist yet, go, maybe you'll feel better.

These type of threads definitely belong in the recovery section, please save this type of content for there. Threads like these are not what the suicide discussion is meant for. Therapy is a scam anyway and is just a way to make a profit off of people's suffering.

lmao that's harsh can't say I agree, and I can't say I want to talk to a therapist. But i don't think therapists are inherent evil either.

I don't sit here often, so I didn't know that my message should be attributed more to the " recovery section."
And I am for the fact that a person would first try treatment .Still, before CTB, I think you need to try recovery.

Thanks for your reply.❤️

I think therapists do care and genuinely believe that they can help people. I also think that there's gotta be some level of cognitive dissonance going on in their heads because no sane person thinks "I want to make mentally ill people feel better and happy" and then says "I'm gonna charge them extremely high amounts of money for that"
In that sense they're not necessarily evil, but they definitely are all blindly following a morally indefensible path.

As someone who has been in therapy since the age of 12, I can see both sides. Yes, some therapists do wish to help and their hearts are in the right place, and they do display some sort of empathy;however, the problem lies in the industry where they are programmed and indoctrinated to believe that we are irrational beings(which might be the case at times, but not always)and that our views aren't correct. They attempt to make us deviate towards positive aspects of life, which isn't an accurate representation of life at all. Yes, there are some positive things, but the cruelty of this life isn't something to recover from or isn't some sort of an illness. Although, if therapy works for you, continue on with It. But it didn't work for me, and I did find the therapists to be exacerbating my issues and suicidality. I wish you the best! Take care

I can't speak to any of that. I think it sounds like hyperbole, because there are a whole lot of people who want to help others in the field of mental health, and are not obsessed with money. I have met them and I think your characterization is disrespectful. I do not want to talk to them does not translate to all of them being greedy.

the problem you're complaining about is health insurance and how does everyone involved make a living wage while bettering health?

Do they actually care? I think you responded yourself with the second half of your post. They don't care as much about you as they care for your payments. Plain as day.

Yes, in retrospect, I do believe that my characterisation wasn't that fair for which I apologise. Im just trying to share my personal experience, yes I shouldn't generalise. Its just that ive been to around many therapists,in my country, and none of them were helpful for me. I just heard the typical beliefs that im wrong and that life is amazing im being too negative etc. So, I naturally lost hope.

no, you're right there. I have not found much help either. I am struggling to express that I appreciate those who want to help, even though they don't have a clue. Religion has been there all my life and it's been a hoot! A useless hoot!

Can't say I've worked it out to my advantage psychologically or professionally yet, but here's my outlook since way back... no, you didn't ask to be here. neither did anyone else. your parents liked fucking. are you mad at your parents for fucking? really? find a way.

unfortunately, I haven't found a way, not really, though I don't rely on my parents. That's fine. Fuck them.

Agreed. Religion has been rampant throughout my life, but I just can't seem to rely on it anymore.Wishing you the best!

Some people have determined that recovery won't vastly improve their quality of life. It seems futile to just cope when we will die anyways.
