What ctb strategy has the highest success rate and what is that percentage?

As said in the title, I think my question is simple. What can method has the highest success rate and what is the actual percentage? I understand that it may be difficult to come across this information but I can't seem to find it myself so I wanted to ask if anyone else had it.

Pretty sure it's fire arms at 90 % succes rate

pretty sure it has the highest success rate too

if you aim at the right angle you sure as hell wont wake up after pulling that trigger

Yep. If using a pistol or rifle, gunshot to the head is lethal about 97% of the time. If using a shotgun, it's like 99%.

This is true for the USA, but I'm not sure about other countries. My guess is it's significantly lower in most other countries where guns aren't as easy to obtain.

It's very hard to get accurate information on a lot of methods, how would you go about getting the data?

Many methods are dependent on so many extreme variables, it seems almost silly to group them. I tend to take it all with a grain of salt these days

Jumping will depend on height, drag, impact surface, etc.

Drug poisoning will depend on quantity, purity, time until discovery, etc.

There is no data on SN specific since all drugs/chemicals are dumped into one big category so there really is no way of telling.
If I would guess it would be like 30-80 % so I think quite high but there is no way to be sure.
Also 30-80 % is just from what I see on the forum since there are quite a few posts about surviving so do not quote or base a thing of that.

How ironically cruel that we even have to fruitlessly speculate on which method has the highest success rate when death itself is inevitable for all living beings and the passage of time is truly the ultimate method for ensuring death.

My money's on gun suicides having the highest success rate though. It's a shame they still seem pretty painful though.
