Anyway, I see that there is a thread for "What yo listenin rn" and I didn't see any for games. So yeah this one is for games.

Post about a game you're currently playing. You can include videos, images and make a description if you want to. Go wild!

Last game I played was Brotato, which is basically "What if Vampire Survivors was wave based...and about a mutant potato VS aliens?". It's super addicting, very accessible, difficulty wise, and runs on any potato. (no pun intended)

Also am playing Doom RogueLike Arsenal mod for ZDoom + Obhack maps (Basically Doom + Lots of weapons + Random maps), OpenTTD (Never thought I would have fun running a transport company.), trying random football (Not handegg) games on c64 (Hint: Most of them suuUuUuuck) and Tekken Tag Tournament. ("EVERYONE IS HERE", Tekken style)

I always thought Oblivion was better than Skyrim, but I guess modding any of the elder scrolls games makes them the best.

I just passed the 100 hour Mark in Detroit become human, amazing game, and I can heavily relate to it, it deals with morals, public opinion, suicide, choices, consequences, such a sad game, and slightly depressing, so avoid if games can make things worse for you.

I also just finished the first Alan Wake, that was a fun one.

Crash Bash with my sister where we trying to 200% the adventure mode where with later game collectibles have to go against the most cheating difficult AI ever but we some near finishing it with only 3 more platinum relics to go.

Also started watching my sister play Coffin of Andy and Leyley where we voice act the characters and I am really liking to voice Ashley. Story is very engaging to me and the aesthetic of game is pretty.

OMG CRASH BASH. I remember that game...it wasn't that good, but with multiplayer it was decent. I wish they made a sequel/reboot like they did with CTR and make it Mario Party-ish

I also voice acted games my sister played back when she was living with me! (She's not dead, ok, just on another state) I was too shy tho and never could truly have fun doing it...

The number 1 reason I liked oblivion was because of the POTATO PEOPLE, and the fact I could make the one in uriel's dreams the stuff of nightmares, hahahah. Oki, really, the main reason is because it was less grey than skyrim and less dark than morrowing.

Hell yeah much respect to you! I did a broken sword SL 1 run back in the day. I fucking adore that game.

Thank you ^^ Well done for doing a SL 1 broken sword run, I would never be consistent enough to be able to do that. I have done a Dark Souls 1 broken sword run too before tho only did all base game bosses cus I could never stop Artorias' buff from happening. So far Dark Souls 3 has been easier, mainly cus of the broken sword doing much more damage and more stamina with being able to stun lock enemies for longer compared to 1.

Gaming is a big, broad hobby. It's all about experimenting. Some people like fast paced, reaction based games, while others prefer slower, maybe turn based thinking games. Some prefer big, open-world with tons of stuff to do, and others prefer a linear, well tuned experience. Some prefer a wildly artistic game that defies genres, other want something that is just a slightly different, more refined experience in a very well defined genre.

If you want to start experimenting, I would say retro games are nice: Simple, straightforward, often no instruction required. NES, SNES and Genesis are good start points. But of course, that is only my take, you can do it whatever way you like, just dive in, it's just that retro games are usually easy to get in the internet (Myrient) and easily playable in any computer, so you can try many in a short period of time.

Hope you eventually find that game that clicks and makes you feel good inside. *hugs*

As far as live service games go, I've mostly been playing ZZZ and Love and Deepspace. I'm so attached to LDS it's stupid lol. In fact my phone just tried to autocorrect stupid into 'Sylus' so.... that probably says enough....
And ZZZ has become my favorite Hoyo game over the last year. Natlan was awful in Genshin, and I only play HSR every few months to do the story chapters in one go, so it's no surprise. I'm enjoying building Hugo right now.

Otherwise, I'm currently playing Fate/Extra CCC on my vita, and Trails in the Sky on my PC. I hadn't realized CCC had finally gotten a full English translation so that was a nice pick me up midway through this awful week, I've just started it. And Trails is a series I've wanted to get into for so long, I think it's the only long running JRPG I've not played. It's really great so far, but holy shit is it a challenge. However it's a nice distraction from the fact that I have to wait a month to buy Expedition 33 :')

As much as I love The Sims, I always prefer building wacky houses than actually playing the game, and also making horrible abominations. I've had Sims 3 on my PC for long and every now and then I think "Hmm I would like to play Sims 3" only to forget that in like half a minute.

That's terrible...must feel so bad. Maybe you could watch videos or streams of people playing to get some of that feeling back? I once streamed on Twitch, and I liked it, but barely anyone watched, and I usually play really random stuff, like REALLY random. Would like to return some day, but work means I'll be able to do only on weekends.

my main game is escape from tarkov but when i want to feel more a part of a group of people (i run solo in tarkov) i play valorant. and when i'm really sad and lonely i boot up league of legends to talk to people in all chat. it all sounds quite miserable but i do still find the games fun enough to sink time into
