People outside of this website would call us evil, maybe manipulators or even a cult. But what do we think about ourselves?
To me, we are the part of humanity that realized the truth about the world, how meaningless ones choices can be, how miserable fife can get. What do you think?
I'm probably unfit for this since I consider myself still outside of this website. But what I personally in my own perspective (redundancy for emphasis) see here is a community, there are good sides, there are negative sides, but mostly good, at least I think so? I also searched the site on wikipedia just now anddd... *wince* bad rep. When I found this forum, I found it without preconceived bias. I immediately went to the philosophy threads and got enamored by the mood.
Sorry for cutting but I currently see an example just beneath this box "will AI create it's own philosophy of life?" that is what I'm talking about
I'm just a few hours old in this site but as I go around, I see this more as a place of farewells and venting frustration than encouragement of self destructive behavior.

Not sure if I should comment considering my accounts age, but I still want to say that any place that is willing to take the time to provide information instead of hiding it is a truly noble thing that should be respected for what it is. People outside of here should understand that this place isn't causing suicidal behaviour, but it is helping people make more informed decisions so they don't have to suffer for longer.
I'm a few hours old here, literally
