In my case, im just super awkward, can't make eye contact, and can't keep social interactions going, especially with girls, but I think that's more to do with me having serious mummy issues. I also never leave the house for anything that isn't essential, and despise any social interactions where it isnt me one on one with somebody, I just can't do groups, and if im ever in a group I just end up as the quiet guy in the background.

A lot of Gen Z and probably even more of the younger generations when they eventually approach adulthood. I'm pessimistic on this prospect because I'm a victim. They're not raising kids correctly and I don't have the answers but mandating masks in the classroom sure as hell won't help. A lot of people simply don't know how to socialize, sadly. Even worse, people are becoming afraid to. Probably comes down to parenting.

i don't think virginity is necessarily a sign of lack of socialisation. on the contrary, i think it's great when people save themselves for someone special. i sure wish i did! nowadays, everyone is pressured to lose it as quickly as possible. it's destructive to one's mental health either way: if you struggle to find someone to take your V card, you feel inadequate and insecure, and if you just do it with someone to get it over with, it damages your ability to love and truly connect with people, especially for women.

sadly, nowadays a lot of people who have been properly socialised don't know either. poverty of vocabulary and overly consuming media, but never creating will do that to you. i used to be like this when i was severely depressed, too.

Well, the good news is, you can get better (speaking from personal experience).

From just a quick glance at your posting history, you seem perfectly eloquent, far more so than a lot of people nowadays. Your main issue seems to be not fitting in with others and feeling angry about that. I would recommend finding friends who have similar interests and worldviews, and building each other up instead of stewing in your own miseries. I'm sure you know that though, it's just a matter of going out there and doing it. Well, that's the part you have to do on your own... That's the bad news.
