What are the reasons you don't want to kill yourself right now?

Let's say, if I were to ask you why don't you "want" to do it now, rather than why don't you do it now, because obviously actually doing it is so difficult, what would you say?

I have thought about this a lot the last week and really tried to think what is in for me in the future if I stay but there is really no reason for me to stay alive I HATE adulthood I don´t see it as living, "childhood and teenage years are living adulthood is just existing" My social life ended at age 17 and I am 26 now and again I have thought really long and hard about why I haven´t felt the reason for ctb the last week and I don´t know why but ctb is the most rational conclusion when I think about everything now and in the future.

Right now I want to drink my coffee while it's hot and relax with some Fallout 4. I'm not awake enough to do anything as labor intensive as killing myself.

My family while in crisis needs me right now, even thou I can barely cope and do a shitty job when needed. But I guess it's better than nothing. Plus there's a certain thing I have to before I can ctb. If I do it, it would a huge red flag that I'm suicidal, so I'm not sure how to do it

Nope not a single one, but for the last week I somehow don´t feel like doing it despite having all the same problems just worse and also have no hobbies, hopes, dreams or passions. I wish I had done it when I was a teenager when I had depression and felt so sad I could cry for hours plus my raging teenage hormones those two factors gave me a huge drive to ctb but I foolishly tried to give life another chance and now I feel nothing because of apathy and anhedonia so there is no drive to kill myself logic/rationality but that isn´t even enough to try or even practice.

My mother is a big reason I dont, I know it would crush her. I always thought I'd wait it out until my parents were dead. They're in their 70s now. My dad's health really bad right now. I was doing ok up to that.

My parents are a big reason I'm still here. They are really supportive, especially my mother. I'm lucky that way. I'm in my 40s I live them now. When they died I'll literally have noone. And will probably end up homeless. And I much rather ctb than live on the streets
