Animal smells. The smell when my kitty yawns, I love it and hate it. The smell around my computer, the smell of my pillow, the smell of clean clothes, the smell of not so clean clothes. Wood sawdust, resin, hay, manure, autumn leaves, swamp, seaweed, the smell of ozone, the smell of something burning, library smells, hospital smells, church smells (I'm an atheist but the atmosphere in churches is interesting), I miss the smells of art college. Some chemical smells, but they tend to be unhealthy and pungent and quickly become annoying . There are probably other smells I like, but I can't remember right now.
I like to smell lots of different things, especially things I've never smelled before. I can spend at least an hour studying the smells of different perfumes, soaps, candle scents and the like, I don't have to buy them, I just go to the shop and smell them.
Recently I lost my sense of smell because of covid, felt clumsy about it.
Now my sense of smell is back, but some of the smells are distorted, it's sad, especially because coffee and mint smell awful now, hopefully that will change soon.
