I read here that meto is dangerous.

What are safer antiemetics that are as or more effective.

As a healthcare professional, I wouldn't say it's dangerous but it is generally a prescription med. most of these antiemetics are roughly related to antipsychotics and have a risk of EPS and/or prolonged QT interval and if you take that further torsades des pointes. But we're talking about CTB, so like the more dangerous the better in my book. I have never seen a single person with permanent EPS, and I have been in the position where if that occurred frequently I sure as hell would have seen it. I'd be far more worried about having a stroke from literally anything else.

A really good combo is domperidone and ondansetron. Highly effective, used for cancer, less side effects than meto

Potentially but I've seen the same side effects from those, some people react to one and not the other but react in a similar way. I always see the prolonged QT with ondansetron upon slow IV push and for quite a while after. I can just watch it prolong on the ekg in real time.
