I do feel better! I wasn't exactly "seen" per se (the behavioral health doctor wasn't in), but I got confirmation that I haven't nuked my internal organs and I finally had a moment where I truly felt safe since I wasn't trying to hold in my feelings and actively fight my thoughts in fear. It was extremely vulnerable first confessing to my family that I wasn't okay (we all cried lol) and then having to go into detail about my plans to the staff during triage (thankfully they didn't ask where I'd learned methods bc their reactions suggested that they were uncommon or required some level of research- not that I'd ever rat this place out ofc), but once I got to the room and had some time to breathe and be alone I felt much better. I'm glad they let me keep my plushie, it really helped during triage and everyone was really nice. They were debating a 1013 but deemed I wasn't a risk and let me go home after being there for 6 hours. So yeah
