Discussion Well screw it. I am joining the military

Its my only shot of making somewhat of a decent life.

I went to the recruiters and signed in for reserves and me being a low IQ dumbass got a 29 on the practice ASVAB test so just 2 points away from passing (minimum). I have been studying on the math because my dumbass can't do math because of autism. If the military won't let me join then it is what it is I guess, I will finish my college life and get my degree.

If thats what you really want. Military service is mandatory in my country for every male with citizenship. We have to serve at least 6 months...but I couldnt, because mental health problems.

It's mandatory for where I'm from too, have to serve for 8-11 months, but I didn't have to go because I'm diagnosed with epilepsy.

Where do you live???? I couldn't serve because of my autism but when I told my recruiter my life story they said I can have a pass

You were allowed to join with an autism diagnosis? Now I am jealous...

I told the recruiters my life story I am able to be an adult (living on own, paying bills, etc) despite having IEP in high school

Though its crazy as an autist you almost have same rights as a felon
