i keep being diagnosed with different health problems. some of them seem to cause my heart rate to increase rapidly with very mild exertion. hiking yesterday more walking on mostly level ground my heart was at 175. i spoke to nurse later who works with my cardiologist and she was concerned. i ask to know what number to stay below. that heart rate is good for people who are in very good shape but i am often bed bound and unable to move much at all and when i can i usually am careful to not overdo it since that can make me bed bound again for some time. i realize though i think for me in my case i could maybe do a really brisk run hike to my favorite place and have a heart attack or something with it. a med i am on is often used to try and prevent heart failure and stop heart attacks and things. it maybe would hurt my kids less and family less if it looks like i was going to my favorite place in the world. it could look like i was taking care of my mental health. it is strange to realize i may have this as an option but if i choose it i need to do it before my body gets too sick for it to be accessible at all.

Thanks for sharing. I doubt this method would be possible for most people but I guess that it's a way out for those who have these health issues. I hope that in whatever happens, you find relief from your suffering. Best wishes.

I have cardiac problems also. Cardiac issues can also lead to a stroke, which is in my opinion one of the worst fates there is. I wouldn't risk it.
