I'm pretty quiet here but he really was one of my favourite posters. He always came across as friendly, kind and down to earth. Was sad to see his name crossed out. Hope he's ok.

I noticed the other day that his name had a strike though.

From what I have observed, people who are banned by mods for other reasons or self-ban, their user ID changes to a gray color with a strike through; whereas, those who have requested that their user ID be banned after a certain amount of time of not posting, their user ID now appears in color with a strike though.

His user ID is in color with a strike though.

I am not sure if this is an accurate observation or simply a new change on the site.

But I too am worried and miss him.

He was so incredibly kind.

you're right, @Weary Soul. i also don't know what happened to him. it seemed to me that he was banned by the mods for some kind of violation on the forum :( but that's just a guess.

I think you're right, which is why I believe (and hope) he simply self-banned instead of going ahead with his plans early....

I'm wondering if he self banned after getting a little bit of disagreement on his last post? I didn't comment but I did see some people getting a bit pissed off. I'm sad to see him gone regardless. He had such a great energy. He was an uplifting presence.

I've never actually talked to you but it was sad to see your name crossed out. I just see you around. I leave and come back alot and it's sad to see all the regulars that are crossed out now. I saw your name crossed out last night and then I saw this thread and I was like yeah! he's still here! I'd already you seen post so I knew but it was nice to see this thread for some reason.
