That's not true. There is a whole case described in the nitschke book and a bunch of people here were successful with this method for example @Eden2k @Crest33

One case is not really quite reflective of every experience, some of the people posting in the megathread for SN have described
pain in it which concerns me greatly. I would kill myself that way if I knew it wouldn't be too painful.

SN is reliable in my opinion. If I had to do it without amytriptiline, SN would be my method. Easy & cheap.

I got my antiemetics and the sn, fighting the urge to just go for it. Will have to hold out for the Tagamet just to be sure.

Too much SN or not enough. No antiemetics. No Tagamet. SI kicking in. There's alot too consider. I don't know why people stray away from a guide with proven success.

I guess because people have reported pain or throwing up. Are there any threads of people's experiences?

IMO the cases that are out there where it wasn't peaceful they either took too much SN or they didn't take anti-emetics.

I just remember some guy on 4 chan I think it was took too much and had some really bad indigestion and ended up getting saved.

I think I remember reading about that. (It was 8chan, btw)
He like put some in his soup and ate it- no antiemetics or acid reducers though. It was only like 5 grams

Because some of these things can be difficult to obtain. I don't think I can get antiemetics, Tagamet, or benzos, so I'll have to make do with what I have when my SN arrives. I don't really mind pain though, it only makes sense that dying is painful.

True, I'm seriously considering going without the Tagamet. Sounds like antiemetics are pretty important though

There seems to be conflicting info about it—I missed this bit but in the megathread people are saying that the PPH says chances of vomiting are low. I'm planning to just gag myself with a piece of plastic and duct tape, so if the SN itself doesn't kill me, at least choking on my own vomit will. ‍

No need to block your mouth. SN will work on it's own if you follow the directions. Besides even if you do block your mouth and nose there would be no need for SN, because you'll be dead from lack of air well before SN takes effect.

I'm not covering my whole head, just around the mouth so I won't be able to physically vomit. Just in case, you know? Trying to account for worst case scenarios.

Still no need, because if you take the anti-emetics you won't have to throw up. No need to reinvent the wheel, coming up with crazy ideas.

How much should I take? How many table spoons is 15 grams? I have anti emetic and Tagamet.
