Venting Wallow

There is no better feeling than wallowing in my own misery. It feels better than everything else my life has to offer. It brings me so much pleasure that I find my heart aching in my chest, begging to be stopped.

Does the word "wallowing" ever not have judgmental connotations?
Of course it feels good to actually let yourself feel your own emotions instead of denying and repressing them, trying to pave over them with fake shallower ones.
