Arguably not an excessively high price given the risks for him and the consequences he's now facing. He was probably doing enough 'customer service', admin and other bits to justify a bit of payment too.

The standard retail price for 'legitimate' purposes is no longer a gold standard when we're talking use for a completely different purpose.

They usually either have major health problems or trauma caused by a cruel and evil society. Anti-suicide slogans don't repair being broken by a cruel society, even if the government pretends otherwise.

SN doesn't weigh 1000 kilos. You can buy envelopes, wear latex gloves when removing the envelope, wear latex globes when placing on the stamp, and put envelopes into the mail wearing latex gloves with normal looking gloves covering them. You can send things in the mail without including genetic material or identifying information. This was selling all done locally, according to the news article, so credit cards typically required for international shipping weren't needed and this person could have likely avoided being caught using better OpSec.

This is not advice, no one should sell SN to anyone as a local dealer like he did because the risks are too high and it's illegal, but your assessment is completely off. If someone had done this with better OpSec, "they" may have never figured out who sold it. Police aren't gods just thugs with badges who follow orders for money.

They can easily find out where it's being mailed from, and then watch that location. Police do it all the time when catching people sending drugs. Usually, it will be for larger operations. But it can be done. Even if you wear a disguise when mailing the package and leave no prints.

They can easily find out where it's being mailed from, and then watch that location. Police do it all the time when catching people sending drugs. Usually, it will be for larger operations. But it can be done. Even if you wear a disguise when mailing the package and leave no prints.

Only people with terrible OpSec would send packages from the exact same location every time. There are dealers who sell drugs this way, vary how they send packages, don't get caught, and retire after making enough money. I'm not encouraging anyone to do this, but your view that police always win because they are supermen with magical powers isn't correct.

I think these people are definitely profiteering with it. I think Kenneth Law was struggling financially after failed catering ventures. Good cover though for buying lots of it I imagine.

But yeah, people have compared them to drug dealers. I'm not entirely sold on the whole: We want to help end people's suffering. I imagine it's more that they want to make money and have spotted a gap in the market. But then, I don't know. There must be safer things to sell.

That said, I'm massively grateful there are those out there prepared to risk it but then- what a risk! Is it worth jail time? They're going after Kenneth Law with murder charges. I assume that means life in prison.

I made it clear to police they couldn't use my case to prosecute. Not that they've pursued international purchases/ deaths I believe. But, we didn't discuss suicide at all. I said- it would be like you trying to prosecute a hardware store for selling rope. They can't be guilty if they don't know you intend to hang yourself with it.

I asked the lady who works at the chem shop why the SN they sold me is so expensive, and she was very polite, and she explained to me that my SN went thru many purifying processes and that alone pushed the price so high. The cheaper variant of the SN was a lot cheaper. 25 euros for 500g, but I said... what the heck, I'm gonna die soon anyway, why save money and for what... and i went and bought the more expensive SN.

He would've got less for actual homicide, the UK justice laws are a joke. And this is a bit hypocritical when the government are pushing through the Assisted Dying Bill. Why can't people understand not everyone is cut out for life and shouldn't be forced to suffer?
