This is just a quick question for those of you who may know. I've been doing a lot of reading about VSED, and decided to give it a try, fail or succeed. I haven't had any food in a little over 48 hours, and stopped fluids 24 hours ago. Obviously, the fluid deprivation is the worst part. Seems I could go without food with very little problem. It's the lack of water that's really getting to me.
I've been swishing tiny sips of water around in my mouth, without swallowing, and that helps some. Since I have no way to get anything such as sugar free gum or hard candies, I wondered if sucking on mints that contain sugar would hinder the process. I have some of those already.
Thanks in advance, and I hope everyone is doing well.
