Has anyone ever heard of drink visine to kill yourself? I know that at least one murder was committed using this method.
Visine's active ingredient Tetrahydrozoline, a vascoconstrictor. So, apparently, it constricts your blood vessels and causes your heart to stop.

I just don't know if that is sudden of if I have to dose myself over several days to build up a toxic level.

Any personal advice is always appreciated, including pointing me in the right direction for information. I have googled this and am now leaning toward it but am unsure of dose and speed and pain level.

I don't know much about the medical field butthis sounds absurd. All I'll say is don't try a method that hasn't been used before or has less lethal effects. It can cause a lot mote pain

Bad idea. You see your avatar? That is what going to happen if you take Visine.

Plenty of other vascoconstrictors exist without the Visine side-effects.

I'm not encouraging you to ctb. Work out your problems if you can.

I have seen a murder documentary where a lady killed her husband by putting eye drops in his drinks. I just don't know how much would be lethal.

As I said, it has been used in a murder recently and the Visine webpage warns against ingestion and describes what happens. I will continue my research.

I've also started to expose myself, when I'm able, to COVID-19. Not cleaning my delivery and food packages, when I go to the store to buy meat I stop by the atm and touch my ungloved hand to the key pad and rub it all of my face. I hate it because I'm a germ phobe but a bullet or hanging or SN don't sound good to me. I am very high risk for COVID-19 (asthma, COPD and a partial collapsed right lung). I have a DNR so I'm hopeful that I will catch it. Then my husband and I agree to isolate in the guest room if we do get sick. I requested him to not call 911 until right at the end. No ventilator for me! Now America has 1 extra vent. LOL

Take a look at what this site says about consuming Visine.

Yes, that's what got me thinking about it. They would never say in the show the amount because well, ctb.

I saw an old post here about someone who took 15 mL (which is one bottle) and was dizzy and sick to the stomach but that was it. Of course, I don't know if the post succeeded after a period of time waiting.

Do you recall what the was on? Dateline?

Here's a link to a site that has some info on the active ingredient.

It's eye drops. The active ingredient is poisonous if consumed.
