A popular French streamer, Jean Pormanove (Raphael Graven), died in his sleep during a 10-day Kick livestream marathon. Police in Nice are now investigating the abuse he endured for his content. Rapper Drake and streamer Adin Ross said that they will cover the costs of Graven's funeral.

After I thought nothing could surprise me anymore I learned about this story. This man earned his money by getting beaten up, tortured and abused in videostreams on the plattform kick. Eventually, he died live on camera while getting abused.

The really sad part about this story. Considering how much attention this gets more people will watch this content and more streamers will want to copy him.

Has anyone on here watched his content? And can give more insights?

I haven't heard of this but, it reminds me of the Miewes case- where his 'victim' advertised and agreed to be cannibalised and murdered.

It really murkies the waters when an illegal action is consensual. Is it then assisting a suicide or, murder?

I think probably still murder, because the person killing/ torturing or whatever else intends to harm rather than help.

I want to talk about this absolutely horrific topic. I'm French and I was planning to create a post about it. I spent several hours watching the reports and all I can say is that the DEVIL EXISTS. I don't remember being so shocked by a current event. If you look at this case in detail, it's absolutely monstrous (and that's an understatement). An investigation is underway but for the moment the devils are free...

This is an EXTREMELY SERIOUS matter, a change of civilization. This LIVE MURDER must be known to the whole world. As a disabled person myself and a victim of bullying in my childhood and adolescence, I must say that I am absolutely appalled. I am so shocked that I almost forget my own suicidality and I would like to avenge his death. I wish that the spirit of Raphael (the victim) could haunt the minds of his tormentors (devils to me).

I hope that these bastards go to prison and become ill, and even be victims of abuse themselves. I am not in favor of the death penalty or torture, bu honestly, when you look at the details of the case, this question arises.

Thank you for sharing as much as possible. Once again, this is a change in civilization and not just another news item. I am aware that I am saying this on a suicide forum, but on SASU, the moderators are doing their job, which is not the case on KICK. Sorry for this long post, but please, talk about it around you as much as possible. The devil really exists. Peace to the victim and thoughts to all his family. In France we are unfortunately used to attacks and this kind of horror, but this case shocks the whole country because once again, when you learn the details of the story...

Best I can do is start to see them as people in 400 years because right now we can't be bothered~ Humanity in 1570 when asked about why people of color are being used as slaves when we are equal to eachother and why women can't have a job and need to poop out children for the men.

Basically nothing will change for hundreds of years because that's just how humans are, their thoughts are too advanced for their animalistic tendencies. They literally need a WHOLE generation raised perfectly to address that specific problem, until we raise like 1 billion people in the right way , nothing will change, the current individuals that exist; they have existed in this state and do not want the world to be a better place; they already said it, you can hear it from the 40+ yo's "leave it for the next generation", and the next generation THEY are raising are the same as them , unempathetic bastards that watch idly by as crimes are committed, so basically GG.
